Meet My Pet Project

For this week's Bring Me a Pumpkin craft event (finger crochet), I want to share about how I got started on the featured project several years ago. At my old job as a resident director, I found a problematic number of clothing items flooding hallways at the end of the year from students intending to give away the things they didn’t want to pack, but in reality increasing my hours as a not hourly paid employee of hauling their stuff to the thrift store or dumpster. Year after year, fines were handed all around, but there were already so many other pressures on students as the year wrapped up, that it just didn’t matter. They’d pay the fine, thanks.
